As part of effort to encourage wealth distribution and create sustainable jobs among the teeming youths in the Country, the third edition of Trek Africa Entrepreneurship Conference and Exhibition has been scheduled to hold in Lagos on the 7th March, 2018.

The SMEs conference, according to a statement tagged: “The Spirit of Enterprise” will have key operators, policy makers and emerging entrepreneurs gather for the conference. Chief Mrs. Sade Okoya, MD Eleganza Industrial City, Mr. Bolaji Akinboro, Ceo Cellulant Nigeria will be the special guest speakers to mould and sharpen the youths perspectives in improved knowledge on SMEs, Job creation under the Chairmanship of Chief Lanre Rasak, the Balogun of Epe Kingdom. Other guests to grace the business enterprising conference includes, Dr. Chima Anyaso, the Ceo of Ceecon energy gas and oil limited, Mr. Adeniyi Adams of Knightstone properties and Mr. Musa Abdullazeez of OXFAM Nigeria.

Her resumption to head Eleganza Industries brought tremendous progress and growth to the company now, been rated as the foremost producer of chairs, tables, coolers, baby diapers, sanitary pads, luggage, soaps among other quality range of products being exported across the world.

The Project Director of Trek Africa Entrepreneurship Conference and Exhibition, Mr. Oki Samson, said the event is aimed at creating sustainable jobs and wealth distribution while highlighting the role of entrepreneurs in National economy development.

It will be recalled that the report of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) indicates that unemployment rose from 16.2 percent in the second quarter to 18.8 percent in the third quarter of 2017, then it goes beyond doubt that Nigeria is in a desperate situation which requires drastic action. Nigerians can no longer depend on the government or blue-chip companies to provide jobs for her teeming population of youths, she has to embrace investment in skill entrepreneurship; SMEs, agriculture, innovation and ICT and inculcate same into the youths of the nation which is a better option if we must diversify national economy.

The event is already gathering momentum as over six hundred and twenty five guests have registered online. “Participants will be given Certificate while, corporate organizations, entrepreneurs, innovators, manufacturers will also have great opportunities to exhibit and market their their products and services to the large guests during the event”, he stated.
