RATHER BE STYLISH THAN FASHIONABLE
Most people go for what trends, what’s in the stores right now. Buy it now, wear it and look fabulous now, but next season, it doesn’t make much sense wearing it, why? Because the trend will be over. Fashion is fleeting because it fades. So being fashionable is a waste of money technically.
A stylish person may have bought a wear a year ago, and still wears it with enthusiasm, because it was for you and fits perfectly.
Before you can have your style or become stylish, you must first discover who you are. This is why teens and young adults tend to change their style often, because they are still fighting out who they are.
Too much good taste can be very boring, while independent style on the other hand can be very inspiring. And always remember you are never fully dressed without a smile.
Fashion is what’s hot now; everyone and anyone can buy what’s hot now. So technically, everyone can look exactly like the mannequin in the store window, but when you incorporate a fashionable item into your own style, then its not just fashion anymore.
Remember this: Fashion says “Me too” while Style says “only me”
